Kathy Johnson – Pyramid of Potential

Kathy Johnson has been working with clients since 2000 to find the underlying causes of their academic struggles, and alleviating the symptoms enough for success. Perfection is not the goal, success and independence are. The conventional wisdom today is to use labels like ADD and autism, accommodations like extra time on tests, and different teaching strategies to help students succeed. In some cases this is all they need to overcome their struggles, but in most cases, once identified with a label, the student learns to require the accommodations in order to find some source of success.
