Irish Stew Recipe with marinara sauce? You bet!
Make this easy one pot meal for St. Patrick’s Day. Using MEESH’S ®, adds tons of flavor in one easy step.
- 2lbs stew meat or top round steak, cut into one inch cubes
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 3 Tbsp Olive oil
- 4 medium potatoes, chopped
- 3 large carrots, chopped
- 4 celery stalks, chopped
- 1-11.2oz bottle of Guinness Draught
- 1 cup beef stock
- ½ jar of MEESH’S ® Marinara (25 oz)
- Sprig of Thyme
- Fresh parsley
Preheat oven to 325
Season flour with S&P and dredge cubed beef. Heat Dutch oven over medium-high heat until shimmering. Working in batches, sear the meat on all sides. Set aside in a bowl. After meat is seared add ½ the bottle of beer to pot. Scraping up any browned bits. Return meat to the pan with all other ingredients and stir. Cover and place in oven until meat is tender about 2 – 2.5 hours.
Serve in bowls with fresh parsley and crusty bread. Serves 4
