My Mussels Marinara recipie that I prepared on Today’s Women with Elaine Houston
- 1 Dozen PEI mussels (Don’t like mussels use clams)
- 1/2 jar meesh’s marinra sauce
- 1/2 cup white wine
Bring salted water to boil.
Add pasta and cook until very al dente. Reserve some pasta water (about 1-2 minutes under recommended cooking time)
Meanwhile, put marinara sauce and wine together in a pot. Bring to boil.
Add seafood and cover.
Cook until mussel shells open.
Remove cover and add drained pasta to pan mixing until coated and simmer for 1 more minute. Do NOT overcook. (If too dry add some pasta water to the pot.)
Plate and serve!
If you wanted to get creative, brown some bacon in the pan before you add sauce and wine. Yum!!
